Choosing between the shelter of conformity and the perils of distinction is, to many a logical and sane human being, hardly a contest at all. Granted that safety in numbers has time and again yielded positive results in the continuation of a species, deviation from the norm by envisioning, engaging and enunciating the unique matters which benefit independent well-being are necessary measures by which advancements are made. To reap the low-hanging fruits of one's labor is much less satisfying than to sow ambitions amongst the stars. As Brancusi pointed out: "To see far is one thing; going there is another."
